What it does, quietly

Four things, none of them in your way

No setup and no save button. TinyNotes does its work in the background so the page stays yours.

  1. 01

    It saves

Every change is kept on your device the moment you make it, before any network is involved. Close the tab mid-sentence; it’s there when you return.

  2. 02

    It finds

Search looks through every title and every line as you type, and shows you the match in place.

  3. 03

    It organizes

Keep notes in notebooks, one inside another if you like. Tag them, give them a status, and pin what you need often. Anything unsorted waits in Inbox.

  4. 04

    It syncs

Sign in whenever you’re ready and your notes follow you. Offline edits wait on the device, and two devices never overwrite each other.

Your notes start on your device.

Writing never waits for the network: every change is saved on your device first, instantly. Sign in when you want them everywhere.

Without an account
Notes live in this browser. Export a backup to keep your own copy.
With an account
Notes are kept in your account and on each device, so you can write offline and sync later.

Questions

More in the FAQ. Anything else, contact support.

Is TinyNotes free?
Yes. Everything available today, including accounts and sync, is free. Paid plans aren’t available yet.
Do I need an account?
No. Open TinyNotes and start writing; your notes are saved in this browser. Create an account only if you want your notes on more than one device.
Can I use TinyNotes on multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in on each device and your notes stay in sync between them. The first time you sign in, TinyNotes asks before adding any notes from that browser to your account.
How do I organise my notes?
Put notes in notebooks (which can sit inside one another, up to three deep), add tags, give a note a status such as Active or On hold, and pin the ones you use most. Notes without a notebook wait in Inbox.
Can I use TinyNotes offline?
Notes you’ve already opened keep working without a connection: you can read and edit them, and the changes sync when you’re back online. TinyNotes needs a connection the first time you open it on a device.
